    Used in Africa because load shot to same point of impact as Super GMX at 100 meters. I wanted the 300 velocity out of my ’06 and believe I nearly attained that. Very effective on hard muscle leopard traveling the length of the body, quick on a warthog, way too much for a jackal even at 125 yds. Worked well on a Gemsbok/Oryx at about 100 yds, but prefer the GMX for that.

    GREAT ammo. It’s interesting to see how ammo performs differently in each rifle. This stuff grouped poorly in my M1 Garand, but, ‘stacked’ up the shots very nicely in my Ruger American Rifle with 2″ groups at 200 yards. I’m certain my poor vision and bad nerves contributed to the group that could have been much smaller with a better shooter. Looking forward to the hunt with this ammo. This ammo in 30-06 is my new favorite.

    I have used this ammo for a few years. Mostly on whitetail, but have shot a few hogs too. It has always done excellent. I’ve never had to shoot twice. The bullet makes massive wounds. They all haven’t dropped in their tracks though. The last buck I shot ran almost a hundred yards. With a good shot behind the shoulder. Once I found the blood trial it was easy to follow.

    Attended a long range training class in VA in April 2015 with a new Browning BAR Safari, in prep for some western hunts. Started the class with Federal Fusion, which did a great job but maxed out about 900 yards on my Vortex Viper HS. Changed over to SST the next day and was hitting steel at 1,100 yards no problem. Added velocity made a big differenc for my experience and not one malfunction in this semi-auto.
